2025 Performance Masterclass Series

November 27 - December 13

The Performance Masterclass Series offers all students the opportunity to perform a piece and receive guidance from our esteemed faculty members. These sessions provide musicians with a meaningful goal to work toward. Students consistently leave these sessions feeling inspired and deeply motivated. The masterclasses offer an ideal space to share music with peers of similar ages and levels, refine technical and artistic skills and build confidence in performing.

Open to all ages, levels, instruments, and musical genres.

Location: Chinook School of Music North, 1101 48 Avenue NW

Parking is available onsite or along 48th Ave

Registration fee: $22 per class.

Live Event Photo & Video Release:

In participating in the Chinook School of Music Performance Masterclasses, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Chinook School of Music and its representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar Chinook School of Music events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of Chinook School of Music. You release Chinook School of Music, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.

Details:

• Classes are approximately 1.5 -1.75 hours in length.

• Students may sign up for more than one class.

• Each performer may bring 1-2 audience members to the class. 

• Students are asked to provide a copy of their music to the instructor when they arrive.

• Vocal students are required to bring a backup track to sing along to on either a phone or laptop.

• Performance Masterclasses are organized by age or level of study.

Elementary Piano: Piano Adventures Lesson Book 2A, 2B, 3 / Royal Conservatory of Music levels Prep B, 1,2
Intermediate Piano: Royal Conservatory of Music levels 3-7
Advanced Piano: Royal Conservatory of Music levels 8+

Steps to book a Performance Class:

To book a student into a class, please navigate to the student’s account to book in the masterclass. If you are recieving an error, you may be on the wrong account and/or the age restrictions may be applied.

Example: Julie is the parent and John is the student. Julie must switch to John’s profile to book John in for his class, otherwise Julie will be booked in by mistake, or you will receive an error message.

1) Find the correct instrument, level/age, and the time that you prefer, then select ‘HERE’

2) If there are multiple classes, please ensure that you select the correct time, then select ‘enroll’

3) Select the student you are booking for, then click ‘Continue to checkout’

4) If you have a credit card on file, you can click ‘Complete Booking’

If you do not have a credit card on file, please enter your credit card information then select ‘Complete Booking.’
